Mattéo’s career journey
Tell us about your educational backgroud:
“I earned a general Baccalaureate (A-Level) with a focus on mathematics and computer science, then went to study for a BTS SIO (Technical Degree in IT Services for Organisations) in Les Sables-d’Olonne, France and then in Bressuire, France. That’s where I found my path and joined Satelix.”
His daily life at Satelix…
Can you explain your role as an engineering technician?
“Day to day, I respond to the needs of our existing clients, either by developing new features or by adapting their Satelix WMS solution as required.”
What do you enjoy most about your job?
“The variety! I love being able to work on all sorts of things — from SQL to infrastructure. It means I’m constantly learning and developing my skills.”
Your morning ritual before starting work:
“A short run, a refreshing shower, a big cup of coffee… and I’m ready for the day!”
What’s always on your desk?
“Tons of stuff! But especially a Zebra barcode terminal, which I use to test features implemented for clients.”

Your favorite TV show?
“Prison Break.”
Your ideal playlist for a productive workday?
“Chill music with a real story, such as Loïc Nottet or Thomas Goldberg.”
If you could work from anywhere in the world, where would it be?
“San Blas, Panama.”
