1 – Preamble

1.1 Purpose of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy aims to outline the use of personal data collected and processed from the website, accessible in particular at the address www.satelix-wms.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”), made available to users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) by Satelix (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).

2 – Definitions

“Personal Data”: refers to personal data as defined in Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”), which is provided by the User or collected by the Company when using the Website, the Application and/or its services.

“Website”: refers to the interactive electronic service operated by the Company, accessible in particular at www.satelix-wms.com, from which it provides access to its products and services.

“Company”: refers to www.satelix-wms.com.

“Processing”: refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means.

“User”: refers to any natural person who accesses the Website for strictly private use.

www.satelix-wms.com is committed to full compliance with applicable laws regarding the privacy of Website users and maintains a register of processing operations, as well as fulfilling all legal requirements related to the collection and processing of personal data for this Website.

3 – Processing and Personal Data

3.1 Data Controller

The data controller of the User’s Personal Data processed by the Company is the Website publisher (see section 1.2).

3.2 Type of Personal Data Collected

The Company may collect the following data from the User or their device:

  • Telephone number
  • Information related to browsing and interactions with services, the Application and/or the Website (search history, forms, cookies, etc.)

3.3 Legal Basis for Processing

In accordance with Article 6.1 of the GDPR, the User is informed that the various data processing activities mentioned below are necessary (i) for the performance of services offered by the Company and (ii) to serve the Company’s legitimate interests in improving its services and understanding Users’ needs, particularly to protect the rights and data of the User.

3.4 Purpose of Processing

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, amended in 2018, Users have the right to access, oppose, rectify and port their data at any time. These rights can be exercised by emailing contact@satelix.fr or writing to Satelix, 54 Boulevard de Thouars – 79300 Bressuire, accompanied by a copy of proof of identity.

4 – Security and Archiving of the User’s Personal Data

The Company collects and processes Personal Data with the highest level of confidentiality and security, in compliance with applicable laws. The Company undertakes to take all reasonable steps necessary to secure and protect the Personal Data of Users of its Website and services, including but not limited to: firewalls, physical access controls at hosting facilities, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, controlled IT access for authorised personnel, data backups, and secure login credentials (username/password).

5 – Dispute Resolution Regarding Data Processing

The Company collects and processes Personal Data with the utmost confidentiality and security, in accordance with applicable laws. It undertakes to implement all reasonable measures required to protect User Data collected and processed via its Website and services (including firewalls, access controls at hosting locations, permissions, SSL protocol, secure IT access, backups, and secure login credentials).

6 – Newsletter, Email Marketing and Alerts

To keep Users informed about the Company’s updates and relevant offers, they may receive commercial information via electronic communication (see section 3.5).
If a User no longer wishes to receive such information, they may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of each email or, for SMS, by replying “Stop SMS” to the sender number.

The Company uses cookies on its Website. These cookies never allow the Company to personally identify Users. Users are informed that they can prevent cookies from being saved by configuring their web browser accordingly.
